Welcome to

Vaishno Devi Yatra

(Duration - 2 Night / 3 Days)

The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most significant and sacred pilgrimages for Hindus, taking devotees to the Amarnath Cave in the Himalayas of Jammu and Kashmir, where a naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam is worshipped. This yatra is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds immense religious importance for devout Hindus. The Amarnath Cave, situated at an altitude of approximately 3,888 meters (12,756 feet), is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva revealed the secret of immortality (Amar Katha) to his consort, Goddess Parvati.

The Legend of Amarnath: According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva decided to reveal the secret of immortality to Goddess Parvati in the secluded Amarnath Cave, away from the world’s distractions. To ensure complete isolation, he left behind all his divine attendants, including Nandi the Bull, the Moon on his forehead, Sheshnag (the serpent), Ganesh, and the five elements (earth, water, air, fire, and sky). Once they were alone in the cave, he narrated the story of immortality, known as the Amar Katha.

However, it is believed that two pigeons overheard the story and became immortal, and to this day, many pilgrims claim to have spotted a pair of pigeons inside the cave, which is considered a divine sight.
